The Stampede is the official student newspaper of Assumption High School. Letters to the editor are encouraged as part of The Stampede's mission as a public forum. Submissions should not exceed 300 words; they should be dropped off in room L9 or mailed to the school to the attention of adviser Michelle Russo. The author will have the final say in the phrasing of the letter, but letters are subject to editing for length, clarity, punctuation and grammar. Anonymous letters will not be printed and the writer's identity will be confirmed prior to publication. Any material deemed libelous, obscene, disruptive, or unlawful to minors will not be published. We also appreciate any suggestions for future issues!
