Requirements for AHS Diploma

One must earn a minimum of 24 credits to acquire an AHS diploma. The required credits include: English I-IV or Senior Applications in English, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Financial Math, Civics, Free Enterprise, World Geography or World History, American History, Biology I, Physical Science/Physics/Chemistry, Environmental Science/Agriscience II/Biology II/Physical Science/Chemistry/Physics, Health, 1-1/2 units Physical Education, and eight electives of any kind.

Requirements for TOPS Award

One must earn a minimum of 17.5 credits with a GPA of 2.5 or higher to acquire the TOPS Award. The required credits include: English I-IV, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Civics, Free Enterprise, World Geography/World History, American History, Biology I, Chemistry, Environmental Science/Agriscience II/Biology II/Physical Science/Physics, Foreign Language I & II, 1/2 Unit Computer Class, Fine Arts Survey or Substitute(s), and an additional Math and Science - Advanced Math I, Advanced Math II, Calculus, Biology II, Physics.
